The project aims at creating and developing an informal network of Romanian and foreign journalists and experts on European integration topics, while enhancing local domestic awareness upon the advantages and the obligations related to the European Union accession process and the EU membership status.
60 Romanian journalists from local media countrywide were selected to participate in the program.
Main activities within the project are:
•contact-making seminar (January 31, 2005, Bucharest)
•six videoconferences on topics of interest with respect to EU and Romania’s accession (to be held during February-July 2005)
•the development of a dedicated website hosting online forums and debates
•a study trip to Brussels at the end of the program.
